Well, I survived. I’ll slowly post several selections from my recital at the Segal Centre in Montreal as I find time to edit. I decided last minute to bring my camera along and set it up in a locked-down shot. In the edit, putting the 1080p footage in a 720p time line in Final Cut Pro allowed me to reframe, zoom, and otherwise pretend there was a camera operator involved.
I do have to thank my stepson Jeffrey, who agreed to babysit the camera and make sure no one killed themselves tripping over it or something. He couldn’t stand the pressure of a locked down camera, however, and slipped in a few little pans and zooms, hehe…
